Job Specific Pre-Employment Medicals

Once a Job Hazard Analysis (with emphasis on physical demands) has been completed, we then customize the pre-employment medical that is performed so that it is completely job specific. Medicals are reviewed by a licensed Occupational Health and Safety physician with knowledge of all current regulations.

On-Site Drug Testing

A new FDA approved immunoassay screen has been used by Medico Mobile Inc. since 1995. It tests for the five drug classes recommended by SAMHSA (marijuana, PCP, cocaine, amphetamines & opiates) with results available immediately. Samples that show drug use are reported immediately to allow for rapid employee replacement.

Medical Review Officer (MRO) Services

As companies today are discovering, challenges constantly arise due to new market realities. Medico Mobile Inc. offers a complete panel of medical services, including routine and executive company physicals, DOT medicals, Registered Nurse health assessments, audiology and pulmonary function testing, and more.

Nurse & Collection Site Persons

Qualified nurses trained and supervised by experienced medical personnel will carefully comply with all chain-of-custody protocols for specimens collected. In all cases, the collector will ensure that the individual is positively identified by using photo identification or identification by the employer's representative.

Record Keeping & Administration

Complete records are maintained in a secure, fireproof storage area with limited access and for specified periods of time as determined by Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Standards & Regulations.

All Collections & Laboratory Services

Medico Mobile Inc. offers fixed site laboratory collection centers and utilizes the services of a comprehensive network of nurses to facilitate timely specimen collection. Testing laboratories are accredited by the Standards Council of Canada or the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Extensive Coverage in Alberta & Canada

Medico Mobile Inc. provides the most comprehensive coverage for specimen collection - always closely monitored for quality by our medical personnel. We utilize the services of a national network of Registered Nurses as well as the services of national medical laboratories (Standards Council of Canada and/or SAMHSA accredited). We have developed, over many years, excellent working relationships with these organizations to further enhance the service that Medico Mobile Inc. is able to provide.

Audiometric Testing

Our Alberta registered technicians have a full understanding of hearing conservation and legislated requirements for noise under OH & S standards. Our Audiometric Program includes hazard assessment, hazard control (engineering and administrative controls) worker education and orientation to noise levels, and the use of personal protective equipment. Audio tests are reviewed by an Occupational Health and Safety physician.

Spirometry Testing
(Pulmonary Function Testing)

In accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations our registered technicians conduct spirometry testing. All pulmonary function tests are reviewed by an Occupational Health and Safety physician.

Safety Management Specialist

Services include: Safety Audits, Industrial Accident Investigations, Safety Management Techniques, and Implementation of Safety Programs, which encompass a wide variety of industry specifics.
